Team Wellbeing

Team Wellbeing’s mission is to aid and support the wellbeing of all members of our school community.

May 2023

For ‘Walk to School’ week, we decided to organise a community walk to encourage alternative means of travelling to school. Here are some pictures of us on our group walk to school. Thank you for all who joined us 🙂

March 2023

On Wednesday 29th March we hosted a “Well-Being Wednesday” event. A range of activities throughout Foundation Phase and Key Stage Two were available for pupils to sign up to such as board games, gardening, arts and craft, football, netball, yoga and mindfulness activities. We even had a visit from the local ice cream van! We can’t wait to organise our next well-being afternoon 🙂

January 2023

During our meeting we discussed that we would like to make posters to promote ‘Moodly’, our new check in and well-being app, around the school. We designed a poster together using the ‘Zones of Regulation’ colours and emotions that we use in classes throughout the school. Our chair and vice chair also prepared a PowerPoint about Moodly to present to our governors and Education Support Officer.

November 2022

We decided that we would like to hold a Well-Being afternoon in school with lots of different activities such as painting, arts and crafts, sports, mindfulness activities etc. We will organise this for the Spring term.

October 2022

Our chair and vice chair were elected during our first meeting. We discussed lots of ideas to improve the well-being of our school community and decided that we want to plant more flowers and spend more time outdoors. We will communicate these ideas to the read of the school during Friday’s celebration assembly.
