Croeso! This is the Criw Cymraeg page where we will update you on all of the wonderful things we have been doing. We are a proud Welsh school!
Visit from Welsh Artist Rhiannon Roberts
Diolch yn fawr to the local Welsh artist Rhiannon Roberts who came into school to help us make a fantastic piece of art! We sat with Rhiannon to think of ideas that would show our local area and our Wales. The final result was bendigedig!
Diwrnod Shwmae 2019
We celebrated Diwrwnod Shwmae! We had fun encouraging everyone to speak Welsh. Da iawn bawb!
Visit From Singer Bronwen Lewis 2019
We were delighted to invite local singer Bronwen Lewis into our school. She sang some Welsh songs with us and even let us sing song of our own!
Pedal Power 2019
We welcomed Aled into the school for a ‘Pedal Power’ day. Each class listened to Welsh music in the morning from rock to folk and we had to guess the artist. In the afternoon, we held a Welsh outdoor disco powered by bikes. We learned about Welsh music, the environment and keeping healthy all in one day! Diolch Aled.
Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant 2020
We thoroughly enjoyed our celebrations this year. Please look at our wonderful banners based on Welsh legends as you enter the school.
Dydd Gwyl Santes Dwynwen 2020
This year the Criw decided we wanted to make St Dwynwen’s Day a big event in the school. We started planning ideas nad actvities. We also decided that everyone should wear the colours of our flag, coch, gwyrdd a gwyn! Diolch yn fawr to Tomos from the Urdd who came to do activities with KS2.
Dydd Miwsig Cymru 2020
We listened to some Welsh music in assembly. We are looking forward to a vist from Mr Phormula in April!
